About Us

Owner, Bob Mosby’s interest in home construction began working along side his father and brothers ‘fixing up’ childhood homes. In 1982, Bob started a painting contracting company to put himself through night school at Washington University. After graduating, Bob began a career in computer systems and later moved into finance. Bob's enthusiasm for residential remodel continued to grow. He and his wife, Julie, remodeled their own homes, further developing Bob's expertise in residential construction. Their proudest job was a complete remodel and restoration of their 19th century folk Victorian home in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

After returning to Kirkwood, where he grew up, Bob started Kirkwood Home, turning his passion for residential construction, remodel, and repair into a career. Julie too saw the move as an opportunity to pursue her passion; she started Julie’s Garden Design. Since 2001, Julie’s Garden design has transformed residential and commercial outdoor spaces into beautiful garden sanctuaries. Kirkwood Home and Julie’s Garden Design have teamed up on many projects to create ultimate outdoor spaces. They provide every project they work on the same attention to detail and quality given to their own home and garden.
